eduroam (education roaming) is the secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community. Voor meer informatie zie http://www.eduroam.org/
eduroam is in eerste instantie ontwikkeld voor de hogescholen en universiteiten, maar wordt inmiddels ook ingezet op middelbare en lagere scholen. Dit om de dekking zo optimaal mogelijk te krijgen. Kennisnet speelt hier een centrale rol in door samen met SURFnet voor Nederland de eduroam domeinen te beheren.
