This metadata field indicates the didactic usability of the material. It is divided into 4 levels.
The lowest level can be used in almost all educational contexts, while the highest level is intended for a fairly specific context.
Vocabulary
1
Images or sound fragments, for example material from the collections of Nationaal Archief Beeldbank or Rijksmuseum.
2
Articles or videos that cover certain content but are not specifically made with a specific lesson goal in mind. For example, material from Kennislink or Wikipedia.
3
The characteristic of material at this level is that it is didactic, a lesson. It is designed for students of a certain level and trains them to a specific lesson objective. For example, many Wikiwijs Arrangementen meet this requirement.
4
While level 3 indicates one lesson, level 4 indicates a series of lessons that are related to each other in terms of content. Multiple learning objectives are addressed, and lessons are often divided and sorted into subsections. The course is typical level 4 material, but it can also be a series of lessons on basic ICT skills for example.
